The City of Marathon and Boot Key Harbor City Marina would like to extend you a warm welcome to the heart of the Florida Keys.

Marathon offers two grocery stores, a public library, a hospital and two post offices. There are numerous marine retailers and many restaurants and bars for your enjoyment. Boot Key Harbor City Marina is located adjacent to the beautiful municipal park and sports complex. The harbor is minutes from Sombrero Reef, an internationally renowned diving and snorkeling venue and public bus service connects us to Key West and the mainland.

The City Marina administers the harbor mooring field; new arrivals may contact our office to receive a mooring assignment on a first come, first served basis. Our continuing efforts to improve water quality have earned us the Clean Marina designation from the Florida DEP. All mooring customers receive a weekly pumpout at no cost, and anchored vessels may call in for a pumpout. Dinghy dockage customers are entitled to the use of our laundry facilities, library, television/lounge area, trash receptacles, recycling, bicycle racks, and vehicle parking.
